Mine does pretty well, too. It's just that in order to do well close up, I have to fool with a few buttons and adjust a few settings, and then a few trial and error photos to make sure everything is set right. I know how to do it - it's just that this morning I was being lazy and didn't feel much like doing a proper job when my only intent was to take a quick photo for this thread
