Before you start building the walls you need to cut any and all doors etc out of the card... Here I cut a loading dock as a old now unused dock:
Cut out the door using your steel edge and use any offcuts for ledges or covers:
Now we have the wall, 3 sides only as the layout edge side will be seperate to indicate that the building is only a section of the real thing. I use a second piece of 2mm card to space the roof off the very top of the walls, laid under the roof it it now time to glue witha hot glue gun - again don't burn yourself!:
