I need to decide on realistic trees and grass guys....what do you recommend? Heki? Deco Grass? What?
The best looking grass is static grass. There is a wealth of information on the Model Railroad Hobbyist web site. There was an article in the March issue of the magazine on page 93 on how to make 3 different inexpensive versions of a static grass applicator. If you go to the MRH site and click on the "maazine" "button" at the top of the page, it will bring up a drop down menu. Look for the selection "MENU (Ron Goodwin) and open it and put "static grass" in the search engine, and you will get a bunch of references to the subject including the articles in the magazine as well as articles in the various paper mags from the past. It also listed the video from Joe Fugate that covers the subject should you want to get any of his videos.
