That's why I seldom bother with a formal plan - eliminating that step saves a lot of time.

Just 5 minutes into the construction phase, I realized that I had not measured the new (GERN Coal) clearance under the plant
The "plans" showed 7" tall... the clearance is only 6" :oops:
So a quick cut and tape of the plans and we're at 5.5" height
Now that the outside temperature has started creeping up to 25 from 9 ... the heater in my shop (garage) is actually keeping it around 55 Not too bad to work in.
