Matt, I love to model real scenes and scaling down satellite pictures is the best tool you can ask for. And I agree about true scale buildings, bigger is better!
Gus, #20 turnouts ... a tempting idea, but for now my #8s and #6s have to do
. Only the turnouts (except two #6) are handbuilt. I like building turnouts, but I do not have the patience to handlay lond stretches of track. I really praise the guy (whoever that was) that invented flextrack .
