Well I looked into the TAZ 3D printer and it is comparable to my MakerBot Replicator 2, but it can extrude PLA, Styrene, and a filament that is a plastic and wood fiber combination and is $5.00 less then what I paid for the MakerBot 
Not enough difference to make me want one just yet but will keep an eye on its development.
Will buy some more PLA plastic soon and see if the detailed version of the boxcar prints out right.
