Deep hole

A trick I have used for drilling deep holes is to take the drill bit and use some CA glue to glue a section of brass tubing ( an inch or two longer than the holes need to be ) over the end of the bit. Then just chuck the brass tubing in the drill and drill your holes. The only down side to this method is you need to be using a drill bit size that matches the inside diameter in a piece of brass tubing. I have done it a number of times with 3/32 and 1/8 drill bits.
