I went through there about 10 years ago. Had a great time, did you get to see the burning mountain side from the under ground mine fire. it was very cool but sad at the same time.

Yep, it is easily accessible, it is better to see in the winter time though. also it is easy to get to the closed down highway. Got a few pics of that too
