You know, I went to the LHS last weekend - and one of my goals was to brows the magazine rack. And whaddaya know, they had no current magazines 
sure, there were some very, very old back issues of model railroader they were trying to sell, but other than that, the rack was completely empty! And then browsing the rest of the store, it doesn't appear they have restocked anything since the last time i was there, and that was 6 months ago! 
Now you have given me an excuse to find a different LHS, and track down this article! One of the reasons I quit reading Model Railroader is that I switched to a WWI time frame, and to narrow gauge, and frankly, MR didn't have much for me any more.
