Michael Yerina's 55n3 Mini-Layout
#2
That is a very interesting layout design, and very interesting construction techniques. I am glad to see a fe others take up 55n3, and hope it catches on. Very quickly this morning I calculated what scale one would have to model in order to use N scale track to represent 36" inch prototype. I calculate like that would scale out to about 1/100 scale. There are 1/100 scale figures, and perhaps some of the smaller n-scale steamers may be a bit oversize and convertible. Have you ever heard of anyone using n scale mechanisms and track and 1/100 scale to model 36" gauge?
