Very interesting indeed.
Could you do some more photos of the surrounding area as shown on the most bottom photo on the left side behind the yellow bus. That looks very interesting for us model railroaders as it is in the "big (and windy) city Chicago" but the buildings are small. It might be a good prototype to model a big city without using skyscrapers.
Do you remember where the photo was taken? Bing and Google would allow us to explore that area more in detail.
