Crazy stuff...Nn3

Yep, it isn't the smallest of models...but this is the smallest scale, to my knowledge, that has kits. And I definitely enjoyed improving this kit with my own brake parts and end platforms. I'm tempted to scratch build a car or two in this scale.

Here's the most recent photo of the coach that I currently have:

Since then, I've added the truss rods, interior walls, and the rest of the windows. I'm currently hung up on deciding if I'll produce molds for simple casting or invest in a pressure pot for pressure casting. I recently switched to a better silicone rubber, but I still have the old molds in which to produce additional pilots. I have caught a few details I'd like to change...to simplify construction for the remaining 30 or so cars to add to my eventual fleet...plus those to sell. The decals have 90% of the work done (thanks to my wife...she's a professional in that sort of thing...and the Oahu Railway didn't use a standard font).

For the South Park cars, I've got 60 arched windows sitting in my parts box to use in building the car side masters. I already have the master work done for their roof (I need a lengthened version for a couple of them), as well as a few other odds and ends.

Thanks for remembering my main project! I should update that thread...

My primary goal is a large Oahu Railway layout in On3
My secondary interests are modeling the Denver, South Park, & Pacific in On3 and NKP in HO
