Thank you for your very generous assessment of my abilities, Dave. :oops:
I was sure that I had done a weathering thread here, but I can find no trace of it: must've been over at the old place. It may still be there, but the pictures are gone, so it will be of little use. I'm not sure that I have any particular skills, especially when it comes to painting. It's generally a task that I do because I have to, but I don't really enjoy it. If it turns out well, I enjoy the results, though.
For most of us, the biggest obstacle to not being able to do something is our reluctance to even try. I'd consider throwing something together on weathering, but just not right now, as I've got a lot on my workbench, both for others and for myself. When that's under control, I'll see if I can come up with something helpful.
