Slowly, but steadily, I'm collecting Accurail and Train Miniature outside braced cars to make the grain consists. My goal is to build up two consists of 8 cars. I was curious if CN used hoppers for that purpose in the 50's. I'll have to do some searches...

Quebec City Bunge elevator (ex-Quebec Harbour Commissionner) is still one of the largest in Eastern Canada. Building it full scale would require more than 18ft at least! The original structure from the late 19th century still stand is reminescent of Parry Sound/Depot Harbour which was conneccted directly with Quebec City back in the day with the short live Great Northern of Canada Railway.

There's a grain consist at each 1-2 days during winter, thought CPR only pulled 2 trains so far this year! CN got all the traffic! Thumbsup
