The feed mill I run had only a one car spur, It was taken out in 1989. It was used for ingredients in and nothing out. Every thing was done by hand, It would take three guy's almost a week to unload it.

This is exactly what happened with the prototype I'm modelling. The track was very short and they received one car at a time and not often. They shipped nothing out. It really was a small time co-op and rail service ended by the late 1980s.
