A lots of work on the layout yesterday to build the cement plant. We started at 10:30 AM and finished at 11:00 PM. Almost non-stop work.

Most structures were built using cheap Life-Like Mount Vernon Mfg. for overhead structure, various ABS pipes, Masonite and a modified scratchbuilt styrene loading bay from a previous project.

A mock up with the ABS 3 1/2" pipes for the loading bay.

The completed plant. If follow loosely Villeneuve's now-demolished plant. Lots of details, paint and weathering not done, but at least the structure is usable and visually acceptable.
