As promised! We did some railfanning in Charlevoix yesterday, back somewhere in early 1990s, before the line was operated by Charlevoix Railway (nowadays Le Train du Massif, as touristic venture). The consist we saw was the typical eastbound empties train en route to Donahue's Clermont papermill. Unfortunately, a pair of GP-40W replace the M420s, probably sent back to Montreal for maintenance. Interestingly, our train pulled a Difcom dump car loaded with rocks. I guess they still have to do some roadbed maintenance since the last washout. We were surprised no woodchip cars or J.M. Huber lime tank car were in sight. Maybe next time. Pictures were taken at Les Caps on Canadian National's Murray Bay Subdivision, east to Quebec City.

Enjoy the ride as much as we did! It's great to go back and delve into your childhood memories.
