41st Street & 2nd Avenue Brooklyn NY (NYCHRR)
#1
I've started some work on my 4' x 1' 8"...I guess you could call module (maybe diorama) of Bush Terminal Building 20 of the New York Cross Harbor RR. For those who don't know this stretch of track runs down the center of city streets and has a sharp curve from 41st Street onto 2nd Avenue and cuts through the corner of the building, but unfortunately no longer in service. Although there were 2 parallel tracks in the street and 2 separate openings in the building I only did 1 track and 1 opening. I have some extra track and thought about doing some of the dead lines in the street but we'll see. I used proto87 electric avenue track http://www.proto87.com/easy-street-track-system.html and the Walthers Hardwood Furniture building http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3044 that I will be rebuilding with a few kits and will be about 3' 8" long. I still have to solder the track and feed wires and test it but this is what I have so far...
