Thanks, Errol! That does look like a good layout. Sorry for not posting in this thread for awhile!
I'm still modelling in British 00 (similar to our HO), mainly because I've gone so far with this scale & gauge that it's hard to turn back, especially after investing so much money in this gauge. I guess I could sell off some of my 00 locos and make the conversion as many people have.
I've made four 00 (or HO) layouts over the years:
-- a 4x6' which I began 9 years ago as my "starter" layout (it's now scrapped)
-- a 1x4' switching layout (also scrapped)
-- I've now replaced the first 4x6' with another but better 4x6' layout (basically finished but always tweaking it)
-- and I've also replaced the other switching layout with another but larger 15" wide by 6' long switching layout (the track is laid but I'm still adding the scenery).
