Don't forget, a lot of the older buildings tended to "settle" and the walls would shift and sag. As a result, the windows would appear slightly crooked. Add some heavy weathering and maybe a faded sign painted on the side of the wall and you will have yourself an absolute gem. You may be unwittingly creating a work of art.
Mike,There are building safety codes that apply to industries and a building walls that shifted and sagged would need repaired or torn down.That would be a sign of serious structure issues.
