Dave - the 3-in-1 kits were basically a box of parts and some instruction sheets as suggestions on what to make with the parts. The 2-4-4-0t was one suggestion, as was an 0-8-0t. All of these kits required some cutting and fitting and use of detail parts from other manufacturers.

Today I chopped and spliced the boiler shorter, and cut the cylinder saddle. Here she is next to one of my 2-8-0s for size comparison. I still need to do some major frame sawing and hacking to turn it into a 2-6-2.
