Bushwick Terminal
So I am resurrecting this thread just as a big thank you to CNW1961! I saved this plan back when it was first published, and I've done a little bit of adaptation and stretching, along with the addition a 2-track staging area that curves off one end. I dry-fit the track, hooked everything up and played with it for a couple of weeks, and this plan is one of the most enjoyable switching layouts I've operated on! My sons and I are looking forward to the process of scenicking this, but for right now I am finishing up valance construction and lighting.

While this plan is in reality located in Brooklyn, through the magic of model railroading I have relocated it to Geneva, NY and it is known as the Seneca Terminal Railroad, a switching area jointly served by Conrail and the D&H ( formerly the LV ). I have a blog thats been updated pretty rarely till this point, but you can check it out here and keep up with the progress - http://senecaterminalrailroad.blogspot.com/
