A personal anniversary

I joined about a year before the forum was formed, but then I have always been ahead of myself! I think I had been a member for a year or two when I found out I had stage 3 inoperable lung cancer and that was in Dec. of 2002. I don't remember how I founf the place but I'm glad I survived the lung cancer and that the Gauge survived the cancer known as the "Zealot" !!!!

We are also glad that you got through that ordeal, and that the Gauge got through the ordeal of Zealot. We have kept the old way of doing things and so we have many old friends back as a result. Things change over the years, and in many aspects of life, they need to change to keep up with the world, but there's no reason why we need to go along with this concept. Civility, friendliness, reasonable rules and a lot of good folks gives us little reason to change. I don't think we can thank you all enough for making and keeping Big Blue what it still is today.
