Heading West through the yard you see the bunkhouse. The house was used for layovers, it had showers, lockers and beds. It is scratchbuilt using Milw. plans. I still don't know how anyone could sleep in there with all the train noise 24 hrs a day.
a little further and you come across the extra long speeder shed and the MOW track.
All the way on the west end is the large A frame hoist, two RIP tracks a water tower. At one time portage had five such tanks.
