I think we are very reluctant with that matter. Some prefer a modern track plan aligned to most cost effective switching operations other are happy adding just one more run around than necessary to enjoy an extended switch time due to added complexity. Most float somewhere in the middle and have lots of fun
It takes some sensitivity to guess the base setting of the layout planner when an early draft track plan is shown here and the audience is asked for suggestions.
