I started sheathing the car today.

I had to do one of the ends twice as the scribed sheeting shifted when I clamped it. I also discovered that the kit was missing some sheathing material. I had enough to do the two ends and most of the sides but not enough to add the upper and lower filler parts by the doors. I also only have one door as well.
I do have some scribed basswood with the same size and spaced scribing on it but it's about twice as thick as the kit material. I'll probably cut the missing parts out of that and sand the thickness down to match. And in case you think I wasted material sheeting the end twice, that too was the thicker basswood.
On the other hand, it's starting to look like a boxcar now.
