Stock prices aren't necessarily tied to revenue. A company's stock value is dependant on current assests vs liabilities. What has always surprised me, is that a company's outstanding stock can be worth way more than what the company's assets are actually worth. Kinda like over-evaluated. Stock prices are right now about what they should be.
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.
