For those who might be interested, I just got my first TCS WOW decoder. I installed it and tried it this evening. With it as it came out of the packet It is fantastic in my opinion. Unless something happens as I mess with programing I will get more of them. I have a TCS KA in another locomotive and it is fantastic. I have some locomotives with older soundtraxx LC decoders that I think I might put KA decoders in and keep the LC sound.

That's interesting Lester.
TCS has been relatively late in bringing sound decoders to the market, so I'm curious how they compare. Thanks for sharing.

This wow decoder was also a KA. I put it in a locomotive that I never used because it has electric trouble I can't figure out. A tsunami was a lost cause in it. It now runs great and I now have 2 usable 2-6-6-6 Alleghenies. I am wondering about other power troubled locomotives

ALL I use now, is TCS K/A decoders! Even the ones that don't need it! The Auto-BEMF is fantastic, slow speed crawling, impeccable.
TCS is now Beta testing WOW! Sound Diesel - CAN'T wait for that one!!
Carmine A. - CEO, Engineer, and Chief Bottle Washer!

The newest US sound decoders on the market are the TCS Wowsound decoders. First were the steam, now the first Diesel decoders are released.
here's a few demo's , one for a EMD 645 Turbo, the other a EMD 567 prime mover, plus one more. They sound great to me, and the playable horns are great too.
