This thread will follow a door layout design and build to re-produce the look of Las Cruces New Mexico and Rincon New Mexico. This will be a movable display for the Southern New Mexico N Scalers club.

Mike,That sounds good for a display layout but, for me I would want more operation even for train show display.

To my way of thinking if you paint those panels black they are going to be very distracting from the scene between them.I would pant them the same colour blue that your using for the sky backdrop.
This of course is just my quarter's worth (inflation ya know) your miledge may vary.
