Thanks, it really caught my eye! A case of being in the right place at the right time. Brakie's link included video but I couldn't get it to load. I found one on Youtube of the ballast cleaner at work. Must be a sight to see!

I saw an interesting MOW train a couple of weeks ago in Whicita Falls TX. It was a rail grinder setup. like that one, each piece seemed to be linked together. It looked like a very dirty job though. Of course I didn't get any pics that day, and when I went back it was gone

Hello Everyone---neat pictures Ralph---here's a MOW train that I photographed many years ago in my hometown---this train certainly isn't as shiny as yours
