Misunderstanding, sorry. I just needed a break. I almost left the hobby all together. It is extremely difficult modeling with only one functioning hand. But I am back and accepting my limitations. I think.

You have to, and it's amazing that you've chosen to keep at it. We all wish you the best and understand how difficult these things are to deal with. I've always said that I could, and do, get the job done. it may take me four times as long and hurt a lot more than it used to, so I think that with your type of perseverance, you'll do just fine.

Les,You may recall I have the limited use of my right hand due to a near stroke in '05. 11 years later I have 80% use of that hand.
Now then.
It was hard for me to learn to model with my left hand since I'm right handed. Wasn't easy but,I over came the problem of doing everything backwards.
For me quitting the hobby wasn't a option.. What would I do with tons of free time on my hands? Watch TV? Movies? Play video games, read Western novels all day and wait to die?
I think not..I wanted to keep active and my mind sharp so,I remain active in the hobby, railfaning and rejoined the Bucyrus HO club and haven't look back. I keep my mind and reflexes sharp by playing video games.

It has been 9 years now and I haven't quit yet. I have had ups & downs and quitting isn't an option. I have had to let some things go because it is just too difficult mentally & physically. I love teaching Bible. But I am letting it go as I can be easily confused and I feel that it is to dangerous. I mean if I mess up on something in MRR I can go back and fix it. If I mess up on bible teaching I fear it could be really bad. I realize this sounds dumb to some people but it is terrible in my opinion. Okay I will shut up now. I fear I could get out in left field and that is what I don't want to do. So good night & God bless
