Hi everyone, I built a 2 track loop to attach onto Magoun pier, that allows me to run trains and do some switching.
This allows me to use Magoun pier on it's own until I build that elusive future layout.
Please excuse the mess in my workshop.

Jaw droppingly good modelling Greg!
Any magazine would be proud to showcase your modelling I'd have thought. Thank you so much for sharing.
Cheers,

WOW, I just love the night photos. You have some great modeling skills. Thanks for sharing and can't wait for you to get a home layout to go with that pier.

Kev & Dave, thanks for your interest & for your very kind words!
Here are some of the other businesses that are located across the street from the pier.
These are all named after modelling friends that have inspired me, first up Testard Mathematical Instruments, named after Frederic Testard.
Next is Palmer's Nautical Salvage, named after Frank Palmer.

Great modeling!

Greg,
Thanks for posting the additional photos, as said before a truly outstanding layout. After looking over the photos again noticed the rat guards on the mooring lines of your freighter. What a great detail, it's the little things that you do to that make this such a great layout to view.
