My son & I went to the model train show in Port Hope, Ont. today. This was a new show for us and it was very good -- a nice small town show. Not too large or busy but still lots to see. Depending on how you counted them, there were a good 10-12 layouts there. Just curious if anyone else from The Gauge went. It's also on tomorrow. It took us just over an hour to get there from east-end Toronto.
There was an even number of N and HO layouts there & one O gauge. About half were 1950s transition era and the other half modern image. I only wish more steam locos were running. There were quite a few venders as well.
Cheers, Rob

Thanks! I still have to sort through them, lower their res, etc. I'll try to get to it soon!
BTW, I usually take lots of pics when I go to train shows. There is so much to see that I can't take it all in. Plus, I'm usually distracted chasing after my 5-year-old son so the pics really help.

Robert, are you going to the Barrie Train show?
If so, look me up, I will be at the Muskoka Computes and Hobbies table.
I always like meeting Forum members.

I'd really like to go but I'm not sure if I'll have time. Do you know if it's open on the holiday Monday as well?
Thanks,
Rob

Nice pics, I see your doing multiple elevations, good idea it'll give some real character. Your backdrop looks great is it painted on?

Hi Lynn,
Thanks for your comments but these are not my layouts! These are just a sampling of pics that I snapped at the Port Hope train show. I only wish that my layout(s) looked as good as these.
At any rate, enjoy the pics!

Thanks, I'll see how the weekend unfolds. If I can't make it to this one maybe we could meet up at another show?
Cheers, Rob
