Eight miles of track in this German miniature world/model museum.

Quote:HAMBURG - It's billed as the world's largest model train set — a miniature world that snakes along eight miles (12 kilometers) of track, amid fields, cities, even the snowcapped Swiss Alps.
And it's quickly becoming one of Germany's biggest tourist attractions.
Twin brothers Frederick and Gerrit Braun, 41, have turned their boyhood passion for model railroads into a lucrative private museum called Miniatur Wunderland that has kept adding track since its 2001 opening and drew 1 million visitors last year.

Haha, I got an email from my brother and my sister with links to a UK newspaper site. They have a nice slide show of the layout;

At least she said "model railroad" instead of "toy trains".
Model Railroader did a spread on that a couple of years ago. I don't think it was as big then.

Amazing!
The model tankers in the water are neat. I really love that Rock Concert scene too.
Good thing they have all those Fire Trucks. Seem to be an awful lot of fires breaking out on that layout.
