Yup! it's my annual "disappear off the face of the Earth week". Be back Monday June 8. (or sooner if the money runs out too quickly Sad )

Have fun, Pete, but make sure that you're back on the 8th: my first (for 2009) disappearance off the face of the Earth starts on June 9th. Goldth Misngth Probably back in a week or so.

Well, somebody had better be here next week because me and my bride have an important date on June 11. We are going to celebrate our 49th anniversary by taking a few days away from here. We're not sure exactly where and how long, but no less than Wed and Thursday. 35

Goldth Goldth The land mines, remotely detonated explosives, pitfalls, etc. were all effective, and well constructed, but I avoided all of them, and......I'm Baaaaackkk!
I had a great week! saw lots of......."earth, as it was before people". The primary focus of my annual disappearing act is to see the things we all drive, run, fly by, and never get to enjoy. Not the cities, theme parks, in-law's houses, fancy hotels, casinos, etc., but the simple things like the quiet streams, rolling hills, SKY!!!
Has anyone ever modeled a beaver dam?....I saw several. When one can take the time to look.......forests also have fallen trees! do we ever model those? Wetlands, meadows, and on, and on.
Pictures?....nope, only those that are in my mind's eye.
I've seen, again, all the things that trains pass, that we never "look" at. Do you know just how far away a Cardinal can be and still be seen?
Great week!

I posted a response to your message in the Scenery Details forum. Good topic!
