First in the model category!
HO scale, Rivorrossi Heavywieght in New Haven "Patriot" scheme.
And...A rare "backside" view of Ore Hill. Gotta love digital!

Its the early 1950's New Haven's Litchfield Hills, passes by the old Central New England's Ore Hill station, heading east to Hartford. The station is closed, and in a few years, the New Haven will be gone also.

Thanks, Gus. I did a Photoshop job with a sepia tone but I really liked the late afternoon sun look.

HO scale North bound Penn Central commuter in faded Metro Transit high visibility scheme. The nose and PC logo were originally yellow on these units but many turned white over time with exposure to the elements.

shaygetz! Man, what atmosphere! VERY cool lighting/time-of-day choice.

Also, is that N&W FM pushing or pulling?

Galen
I may not be a rivet counter, but I sure do like rivets!

Thanks, fellas. The FM has shoved a work train into the tunnel a few feet where repairs will be made to some rails that were damaged by a roof rock fall.

Big Grin
