Just saw this post... I thought your GP9B was very well done! Thanks for the comment.

Thanks! This is one of the first builds I have followed through with and posted online. I hope I can keep participating in the Gauge challenges.

Turned out great!!!! I'm impressed by the paint scheme. Neat, clean work!
Say, I have two of those Penn Central cabooses pictured above. I did a lot of work on a third one that was in Pennsylvania railroad colors but don't think I'll get as detailed with the other two. They do need more appropriate numbers though. I'm wishing I could get my hands on that porthole windowed caboose and make a PC N5-C out of it!
Looking forward to your caboose projects! Nice assortment!

Thanks for the kind words you guys! Yes, those decals were custom printed to my design by Rail Graphics. I am very satisfied with them and will probably need to reorder soon.

Are those old life-like trainset cabooses? I remember the "loco and caboose combos" they used to sell. I found this web article you may find interesting:

Some of them, yes. The others are Varneys. I believe the bodies are identical, perhaps Life Like got the molds when Varney went out of business? Thanks for the very interesting link... it will be very helpful for determining what details to include on my rebuilds.

You built up a really good-looking slug for your B&P RR. Awesome modeling work!
