Lester Perrys scratch build 09 summer challenge

I put railings where I felt there would be a danger of falling, Top of stairs and ends of walkway. Plus this is 1945/1950, Safety Issues? This is before someone tried to use a Sears push mower for a hedge trimmer.

Very true.

I can already imagine half a dozen vignettes where somebody is complaining about this or that referring to the Rules or whatever. Not sure if it would be suitable on a model railroad. No matter how much one wants to model reality...

Les,

You're doing remarkably well, impressive to be sure, especially under the circumstances. I apologize for not seeing this sooner, but I was so wrapped up in my own issues that I didn't keep up on what everyone else was doing. My sincere condolences for your recent loss.

This was meant to be tongue in cheek much as the original comment was.

No apology needed. The contest and the posts were both therapeutic and thanks. The little guy with the bowling story was here this evening, I can only smile, his actions remind me so much of his Daddy.

Thanks. The trees are easy I would tell you how but then I would have to shoot you. Is it worth it?

Ok, The first thing you do is affix screen wire where you desire to have your mountain side, preferably black screen. Are you sure you want to know? I mean that is a high price man.
