The most famous excerpt from For The Fallen:

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

'The true Soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because He loves what is behind him.' - G. K. Chesterton

For those who wore the uniform, and to those who still do - thank you.

It's an honor to serve with you.

I weep not for the fallen, for they have given the last measure of themselves in defense of something, equal in value to life itself. Liberty.
I weep for those who do not serve, for they will soon forget the value of freedom, and the sacrifice of the fallen will have been in vain.
I will gladly shed tears of joy for those who honor the fallen by carrying on the tradition of defending freedom.
Rest now, my brothers-in-arms, your task is done. Those of us who remain, will keep the memory of your valor fresh, and sacred.
