Sadly, this engine now is pristine...in Rock Island "bankruptcy blue" color scheme....

Those ALCo's were work horses. My favorite locomotive for pulling power. The ones I got to operate would pull twice what a similar powered locomotive of another manufacturer. They looked like that because they were always working. They earned their dirt.
