New Year - New Things on the MF&W RR

I finally got to begin an "under the layout" Diorama. It's called Kelly's Kaverns. I thought of it about 5 years ago and always wanted to get to it. I finally got rid of the wires that were hanging down (first pic on right - Picture is 10 years old.) and built a "wire race" out of wood. Note the "edge" of the layout in the 2 pics.


   

The new structure and the beginnings of the Kaverns can be seen in this Pic.

The Gondola "base" is started to be built. I'm open to any suggestions on how to hide the "Big Wooden Box that has the motor drive in it.
