Railohio: Thanks for those great pics!! I just recently read a hisory of the Rock Island Lines!! Very interesting!! My father workrd for the DRI Lines for several years. I think they were a very short line, although they did go into the interior of Iowa. (as opposed to just Davenport and Rock Island.)
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.
