New Layout MC&H Central

Right you are TrainNut.

After five days of construction, we are at 96 photos.

Pauls is just flying around the layout, Rob is taking photos constantly and in the evening, I am documenting the whole day`s progress. We will be turning the whole thing into a series of articles for submission to N Scale Magazine as well as Scale Rails.

Week One has come to an end.

Paul has been getting plastered and carving rocks all day. 35

Todays installment features 18 new photos. That brings the first week's total to 114 photos. Popcornbeer

Next week I will have to start a new page, this one is getting crazy big.

The last shot is special, our photographer Rob hired a helicopter so he could get an aerial view of the entire layout. Google Earth has nothing on Rob Seymour. Eek

I must say that that is some industrial layout building. The N gauge layout at the local shop was apparently made in a very short time, I was told, but it looks rather shabby. This one is going to be a great showpiece. Following the progress and enjoying the pictures in the meantime.

That's looking really good..!! I like how he seems to place the foam just "willy-nilly", but it turns out quite nicely...I'll have to give it a try on my next scenicking session.... Thumbsup

With the start of the 2nd week I have added second Layout Page to the website. Eek

If a picture is worth a thousand words then we have said 142,000+ words about the layout so far. Misngth

Paul's scenery has to be seen to be believed.

The progress in eight days is amazing. We are up to 160 photos online.

I find it encouraging that he has some areas with ground cover while others are bare benchwork (because that is what I do Goldth )

Right Kevin, Paul says he works on one part and then while it dries, moves on to another area.

Well Day Nine has come to an end.

Paul spent all day adding details.

We are now up to 180 photos.

This is one of those "hard to believe it is N-scale" layouts. The ballast is superb.

I have to agree 100% Kevin. Paul is doing an amazing job on the layout, proving why on the N Scale Org forum they call him "Micro Angelo". The detail in the cabin area has to be seen to be believed.

Day Ten brings the photo total is now 198.

The town is being designed and the gorge behind the trestle is taking shape.
