I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

As someone living with Olympic chaos and still trying to get to work every day it's a right royal pain. Can't feel bad about it though. The streets are filled with happy party goers ...boy there's a lot of foreigners here. most of them trying to get lost.

Anyone who ever visits Vancouver...you won't get lost if you remember the mountains are North.....now how many times have I said that to people in the last couple of weeks...grin

The other day going home on the bus this lady got on and proceeded to interrogate everyone on the bus to find out where they were from and how many medals their country had won.....yup the locals are getting into the spirit of it all.

Yeah Canada!

Congratulations to Canada for a whopping success at these Olympic Games: While the USA collected the biggest number of medals (37 I think), Canada won the most GOLD medals - a fine record, too! Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

(BTW: We in little Switzerland are also quite proud with 'our' 6 gold medals, hehe! )

Well done, Canada! Congratulations both on the games themselves, the warmth and sportsmanship Canadians has shown to visitors, athletes and media, and the medals your athletes have won - they were well deserved.

Grin,
Stein, who didn't go quite as crazy this time around as everybody around here went in '94, but I understand how you guys feel right now :-)
