I completed Acme (did a build thread in the "scratch-building" forum).

Here it is on the layout:

I have one structure left to do for the layout. I haven't picked it out yet, so that will be my next mission. I don't want to get started on ground-cover until I get the structure in place. I heavily darkened the soil in the yard area, and I want to make sure that I blend the new stuff in a natural looking way.

This is the building I need to find:

Steve,

The building looks great on the layout. I am looking forward to the next building and seeing the rest of the scenery filled in around it.

Keep up the good work!

After another looooong hiatus........

I have picked the last structure on the layout. The building will be a nondescript brick factory with a static tank car as the main focus (or scene of interest):

I think you can see how this will fit right in to the flow of the layout and bring a little visual interest to a background building that is no longer served by rail.

There is still the little scrap yard to do in front of this building, but I think I will be using a little shed that I made a while back.....we shall see. I need to dig out all of my modeling "stuff" and see what I have to build this. I will definitely need a tank car Wink and I have found some appropriate smaller ones available online.
I believe that I have the brick sheets and windows I need on hand so that would definitely speed up the process. Now to start digging Thumbsup
