HO Scale Custom Norfolk Western U33C High Hood

Kitbashed Norfolk Western High Hood General Electric U33C. Unit is a stock Athearn "Blue-Box" assembled kit, with a kitbashed high hood and "wheel" type handbrake added. Unit has metal grabirons installed in nose. Nose has been attached to the cab for easy removal for maintenance work. If you remove the cab from the body, the nose comes with it as one piece. Motor has been hard wired for reliable operation. NOT DCC READY. Model has had custom paint and decal job and has been dullcoated. The builder really did a very nice job on this piece. Item was purchased as part of a three unit lot and I only wanted one of the models but had to take all three. Nicely done locomotive with metal handrails ready to go to work on your railroad or at your club.
