What????
Quote:Although the investigation is continuing, Campbell said the incident appears to be an accident.

Quote:Many fled because they were trespassing on railroad property, he said.

Private property, tresspassing, 2 died, some flee the scene, ruled an accident.

When I kill I know where and what sheirff I want on the case 35

What a tragic circumstance. One would think that they'd know that real trains still run on that track. Someone should send a couple of paranormal investigators over to there and see what they think, I'll bet they ask permission first though.

And now there is even more tragedy to add to the legend - a year from now, there will be reports of the recently deceased running on the tracks as the paasengers of the ghost trains are screaming - new t-shirts are in order. Icon_lol

Just curious, not trying to derail this off topic post even further into a political debate.

I can understand the justification for why some American jurisdictions are charging e.g. armed robbers as accessories to murder if they act in such a way that police is forced to kill one or more of them to stop a felony in progress. Their behavior puts other people's lives at risk, and it is random chance that the dead bodies end up being some of the robbers instead of policemen or random bystanders.

But surely you are not suggesting that trespassing on railroad property is such a heinous crime that it makes sense to charge the fellow trespassers for murder since a death occurred during the trespass? To most people, there would appear to be wee bit of difference between a minor misdemeanor like simple trespass (without any apparent intent to steal or any such thing) and e.g. an armed robbery.

Idiots.

The only tragedy here is that the train crew now has the memory of hitting someone.
