Railroad Model Craftsman reports that Jim Boyd has passed.

Jim Boyd was an icon in the world of model railroading. I can recall reading his articles on model railroading back in the seventies when when, after college and the Army, I had the time to get serious about my hobby and began reading "both of the publications" on the subject.

He also did the occasional host/narrator duties on a series videos about prototype railroads.

He will be missed.
