What this guy doesn't realize is that we have a swap meet forum here where he could have listed his stuff for no charge. A lot less than he'll be paying Sothbey's.
I know quite a few of our members has that kind of space and would be glad to have his collection, but the Sotheby's buyer's premium just would put thing's a tad out of reach.
I know if would for me, but, if I had the room at home, I'd be glad to trade him straight across for my N scale stuff, including my layout.
