Those of you who follow the hobo campfire know I've been on (my fourth, gotta love retirement) vacation for the last week. Here are a few snaps from that.
On Saturday we went to Mt. Rushmore. Mr Washington looked very sad in the low clouds.

On Sunday we rode the Black Hills Central. Again is was damp and cool, creating some lovely steam.

Creating all that steam was this 2-6-6-2T.

Here's a shot out the window as she lets off a blast with the most beautiful whistle I've ever heard.
